Hi last October I received 2 job offers one for 55k and the other for probably more. I submitted a resignation letter and as expected they did not accept it. They offered me 39k and a promotion from Senior Software Engineer to Software Development Manager. Offcourse I would take the new jobs but in my contract it said that I should render 5 months before I could leave the office. No company will wait for me that long. So he was forcing me to pay 5 months of salary instead so I was pushed back in a corner and had no choice but to accept the offer they told me its the same because they will not force me to pay tax. After a few days 1 of the companies decided to withdraw the offer and the other one had not yet made. That day he asked me to sign a 3 year bond that I have to pay 1 year salary if I dont finish since I thought I have no were to go and my family needs the money a lot I signed. Under the contract the bond was based on training but I did not have any formal training from this company most of the things I learned I picked up from google. They sent me a couple of times abroad but not for training rather for project implementations. Every day I think I am being cheated what should I do? I dont have any pending applications right now but I really am not happy here. I could send a copy of the contract.

BTW company is stationed in their house. I dont see any plates hanging for business registration. We only had our benefits on October despite running for years and we are only receiving the minimum benefits which does not really match our salaries.

Because it is not factually and legally grounded the bond is unlawful.
