TOPIC: Civil Code

Civil Code 4 years 1 week ago #16381

Apparently, upon checking with my NSO records, My marriage with my former BF in Dec 6, 1987 was filed which I believed it wasn't registered because he disappeared immediately after our marriage. I was only 17 years old at that time.
I consulted a lawyer and I filed a petition of Minority. Unfortunately, It was dismissed because i don't cover the new Family Code. Under Civil code marriage at the age of 14 y/o for female is valid. Due to my lawyer's persistence and he believed that there is a retroactive effect, I filed again for the same petition. But this time we were charge of Forum shopping and later on it was dismissed without prejudice.
Atty, I'm so confused already. My lawyer wanted to refile my case again for the same petition. Can u help me out what would be the easiest way to clear my name and start fresh. I have not seen this EX of mine for almost 3 decades and I don't know his whereabouts anymore. When i checked where they used to live. The neighbor said his family relocated in the US for years now.
I wanted to pursue this my issue but because of what happened in the past i have limited funds now. Do you give probono or perhaps discount po?
I hope to hear from you soonest.

Best Regards,
