TOPIC: Bank Loan

Bank Loan 4 years 2 weeks ago #16441

Nag-avail po ako ng bank loan noong 2006, The bank offered salary loan and meron po ang bank and our cooperative ng MOA "that the cooperative will deduct the loan payment from our salary and the Cooperative has the responsibility to pay to the bank" . So, ang nasabi pong loan was paid thru salary deductions, Meron po akong records and all my payslip are still intact. But after some years, pinadalhan po ako ng banko, na meron pa raw po akong balance na Php 4,000. plus. What I did, I requested from the Cooperative to furnish me a Certification of Payment, which I gave a copy to the bank. But they did not honor the certification and told me to pay the amount. So, different law office keep on sending me Demand Letter. and sa ngayon po, the amount reaches Php 38,661.09. Also, it is stated in the Demand Letter that "Failure to issue payment will mean absence to pay and will compel them to file a case legal action against me".

Ano po ba ang dapat kong gawin? kasi it is against my will to pay since wala na naman po akong liabilities since the principal loan and interest incurred were deducted from my salary. And kung babayaran, it means tinatanggap ko na may utang pa ako.

Sana po ay mabigyan n'yo po ako ng advice. Marami pong salamat at alam ko po na marami po kayong natutulungan.
