Good morning Atty. Libayan. I have served as a non-teaching personnel of DepEd for almost three years and within those years I haven't monetized or used my leave credits. Now that I am a teacher in the same department, our division office has recorded zero leave credits on my favor. My question is: What will happen to my unused or unmonetized leave credits during the time that I was as a non-teaching staff, will it be credited on my favor now that I am in the teaching position or should it be rendered as null and void?
