hi! would like to seek advise. Got into a car accident recently. I was traversing the street to fetch my daughter along with my granddaughter who is already 5 months old. I have also with me my son and brother. My daughter is 20 y/o while my brother is 36. while my son is 16 y/o. We saw a house with its gate open, we really don't know if it just come in or it is going out. Then we saw a guy motioning the driver to stop and looked at us. Understanding that it means we could forward so we go and honked our van... After 2/3 of our van has passed I heard my brother shout Babangga"! then a loud crash. The car crashed to us, like forming a letter T. luckily we are safe, so I checked. The driver, a doctor, came out of the car shouting and blaming me. She reason out that she didn't hear any sound, nor see our van... which quite puzzled me coz she can see me thru rear view mirror and side....She told me to have an estimate for the damage and come back to her. My neglect is because she seemed a decent person I did not make any police report nor took pictures. Now she is avoiding me. When I I came back, to her house to discuss about the estimate she I not there. Can I still file for case? Do I need to show my car's registration? It is my husband's car, and I think it is already expired. Please advise. A police friend told me it is case of reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property. Can I file for a case?

Maybe you may report it in the barangay. But this is just taking a shot. Include the guy who motioned the driver to stop to serve as a witness. This way, if they attend, at least everything will be clarified.
If you've got time and a chance, ask the traffic sector if what may be done with this.
Well, not all people who attained a high educational level are really decent.
If they still do not cooperate, speak with people in their village and inform them about what happened.. Let's see if they can get away and can have peace of mind if others already know what they have done and what they're doing.
Btw, to clarify, the car has expired or it was expired during the time that the incident happened?
